About Us

Rosa is a Category A RASP Behaviour Consultant and is the Clinical Coordinator.

 She has been working with families and children with autism and other developmental disabilities, or behaviour disorder since 2004. Prior to consulting, she worked in residential treatment centers, and 1:1 ntervention for in-home programs.

She has a Masters degree in Special Education with concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities. She is trained in Precision teaching and Early Start Denver Model. 

Rosa leads and coordinates all service teams and supervises BCBA candidates and BCaBA's.

She is able to provide service in English or Filipino. As a Filipino service provider, she values the unique and beautiful culture specific to the Filipino-Canadian families and strives to respect these in her services. When not working, Rosa takes joy in spending time with her husband and three school-aged children, and delights in sharing hearty meals with her loved ones. 

Jane is a Category A RASP Behaviour Consultant.

She has been working with children with autism since 2010. She has worked in residential teaching centers, 1:1 home settings, as well as in the school setting as a support worker.

 She earned her Masters degree in Special Edcuation with concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities; an advanced diploma in Disability and Applied Behaviour Analysis; as well as an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She is trained in Precision Teaching, and continues to engage in continuing education opportunities.  

As a member of JOYBCI, Jane has successfully developed and implemented toilet training to numerous learners. She is also experienced in assessing and developing learning programs for young learners as well as school-aged learners requiring social skills training. In addition, Jane is trained in developing Positive Behaviour Support plans and training parents and school staff in the implementation of these plans. 

As a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, Jane attends learning opportunities throughout the year. 

Jane is able to provide services in English or Filipino. 

 Patriscia is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and a RASP Category B  Consultant. She graduated with Distinction from Arizona State University with a Master of Arts degree in Special Education, concentrating in Applied Behaviour Analysis.

As a mom to a pre-teen daughter with ASD, Patriscia understands firsthand the challenges and triumphs that come with raising a neurodivergent child. Watching her daughter grow and thrive with individualized behaviour strategies has shaped not just her perspective but also her passion for helping other families navigate this journey.

She specializes in toilet training, making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. With a strong focus on assent-based intervention, she prioritizes each child’s comfort, voice, and autonomy.

Fluent in English, Tagalog, and Cebuano/Bisaya, Patriscia loves traveling with her family and capturing everyday moments through photography.

 Callum is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, currently working as abehaviour consultant. 

He has a Master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities as well as a post-Baccalaureate degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism. 

Callum began working in the special education field in 2012 and has fulfilled a number of roles including being a behaviour interventionist, team lead, education assistant, college instructor, and practicum coordinator. 

With years of experience with private and public schools within Vancouver, Callum is able to bring his knowledge of the education system to support families across the Lower Mainland. He is a big proponent of both enriching the environments of clients and teaching them the skills they need to reach personal and family goals. 

In his personal time, Callum loves to go biking, hiking, and swimming. He also attends recreational judo where he has the opportunity to both learn and teach the art.  

Cheryl is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with a Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities at the University of British Columbia. 

She began working in the special education field in 2018, gaining experience through 1:1 intervention in home settings and group teaching. Cheryl has worked with young children, youth, and young adults, developing a comprehensive understanding of their unique needs.

Cheryl is able to provide services in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. 

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys hanging out with friends and exploring different kinds of food in Vancouver.

Daniela is a Category A RASP Behaviour Consultant. 

Daniela is completing her Master of Arts degree in Special Education at the University of British Columbia. Her research is in the areas of direct instruction, promoting STEM learning, and peer-mediated interventions.

In addition to consulting, Daniela also runs STEM camps, is a certified SibShop facilitator, has experience in running peer-mediated interventions in daycare/preschool settings, and sibling-mediated interventions in home settings.

Daniela enjoys supporting her learners in discovering their interests, further developing their strengths, and making meaningful connections with their peers/siblings. She incorporates a strengths-based approach and uses positive behaviour support in developing her support plans for families. 

Daniela is able to provide services in English or Tagalog.

Lauren is a Category B RASP Behaviour Consultant. 

She has worked with children with autism for many years in various settings including the school, as an Educational Assistant; at home for 1:1 intervention; and as a social skills coordinator in a group setting. 

In addition to her bachelor's degree, Lauren completed the advanced diploma for Disability and Applied Behaviour Analysis from Douglas   College. 

Emily is a RASP Category B behaviour consultant. 

She holds a Psychology degree from Simon Fraser University and completed the post-baccalaureate diploma for Disability and Applied Behaviour Analysis from Douglas College. 

As a program manager, Emily has co-led skills assessment, program development, program management, and toilet training. She also helps in developing programs, managing programs, and training Behaviour Interventionists.  

Emily speaks English and Spanish. She hopes to provide her Latino community autism services that will be are sensitive and responsive to their Latin culture. When not conducting sessions with her learners, Emily attends training sessions in and outside of JOYBCI, and enjoys ballroom dancing. 

Mik holds a BA in Psychology with an extended minor in Linguistics from Simon Fraser University, along with a Certificate in the Linguistics of Speech Science (CLSS). She also earned an Advanced Certificate in Disability and Applied Science from Douglas College.

She joined JOYBCI in 2021 as a Behavior Interventionist and now works as both a Supervised Behavior Consultant and Senior BI. Currently working toward her BCaBA credential and joining the RASP list. Mik is passionate about making learning fun and engaging. She loves the dynamic nature of her work and finding creative ways to support each child’s growth.

Outside of work, Mik enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, and taking on new adventures—whether exploring a new city or trying a quirky DIY project. She believes learning should always be fun and brings that mindset into everything she does!

Bella holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She attended Simon Fraser University for most of her university studies and received her degree from Kwantlen Polytechnic University 

She has been working as a Behaviour Interventionist since 2014, both in 1:1 and group settings. Bella has a gentle and respectful approach to working with her young learners. She has experience working with many young and early learners with limited or emerging vocal verbal skills.

She is currently receiving supervision for consultation and program management duties and she intends to pursue a Master's Degree in the near future.

Joana works as a supervised consultant who completed her advanced diploma for Disability and Applied Behavior Analysis from Douglas College. Before her advanced diploma, she completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Victoria with a focus in development Psychology.  

Since 2019 Joana has been working with children with complex needs in school settings and in Respite care. She started working for JOYBCI in 2022 as a BI working in both at home and group settings. Joana continues to gain experience in feeding interventions as a focus of hers.

When she is not at work, Joana enjoys cooking Filipino food with her family, and going on walks with her dog.

Marielle is a senior behaviour interventionist.  

She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (Autism) from Capilano University and is hoping to become a behaviour analyst in the future.  

Marielle has a nurturing personality who adores her learners. She is joyful, positive, reliable, and a hard-worker who values the importance of overcoming challenges, and life-long learning.  

Marielle is fluent in English and Filipino. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as watching Korean drama.
